Install the GRE Practice Test Software

The GRE practice test software is required if you need screen magnification, selectable colors, screen reader or refreshable braille accommodations. It isn’t required if you need extended time or extra breaks. Visit Using the POWERPREP^® Practice Tests with Accommodations for more information.
 

Using the software with ZoomText^®

ZoomText software is a screen magnification program that enlarges and enhances everything on the computer screen within the POWERPREP Practice Tests and Test Preview Tool. This specific version:

• is designed to work with the POWERPREP Practice Tests and Test Preview Tool only
• is PC-compatible only

To install the Practice Test Software, you’ll need a Practice Session Number and Passcode. For instructions on how to get these, see Using the POWERPREP Practice Tests with Accommodations.

If you are experiencing problems installing the GRE Practice Test Software:

• Verify that your computer meets the System Requirements.
• Attempt to install the software again.
